It is with a great deal of admiration and respect that we, the Senior Class of 1958, dedicate this first edition of the VESTIGE to
MR. G. B. LAMAR
Through the years, Mr. Lamar has been a loyal friend, an avid sports fan, and a generous benefactor. He has become a Godfather to the boys of V. E. S. His life exemplifies those characteristics and attributes of the true gentleman which we shall remember and strive to emulate during the coming years.
