OUR FATHER••••••••••
The Reverend David Hugh Upton has been chaplain at Virginia Ep- iscopal School since 1987. He is un- questionably a very visible, vocal and vital member of our communi- ty. Not only does Father Upton nur- ture us spiritually when we gather in Chapel, but he is always available to offer encouragement and support whenever we need him... even ifthat includes those special trips to the •T- Room". As a graduate of the Univer- sity of North Carolina and the Vir- ginia Theological Seminary, Father is well-credentialled to carry out his duties as chaplain, teacher of reli- gion, and dorm-master. We depend on his guidance and appreciate his geniune and sincere friendship. His influence shall remain a great part of our lives for years to come.
It is with special love and gratitude that we dedicate the 1996 VESTIGE to Father.
