Sarah Cuccio is a familiar sight around the VES campus. Besides being the Dean of Students, Mrs. Cuccio is a math teacher, an advisor and a true mentor. Just last year her daughter Anna graduated from VES, so Mrs. Cuccio knows the school not only as an administrator and teach· er but also as a parent. Her grace and poise and friendly spirit are admired by students and faculty alike. Mrs. Cuccio's office door is al· ways open. She takes the time to sit and talk. Mrs. Cuccio helps young people discover who they really are and what they are capable of doing. She is someone in whom students know they can confide, someone whom the entire community trusts for her good advice and fair opinions.
At the end of this year, after ten years at VES, Mrs. Cuccio will join her husband in Hickory, NC. Her rich gifts to VES will remain in our hearts and minds for years to come. We will truly miss her and wish her all the best.
