2012 Dedication
The 2011-12 Vestige is dedicated to Mr. BK Mundy '67.
To say that Mr. Mundy is a VES institution would be an understate- ment. His dedication, love of the school, and tireless work ethic has inspired thousands ofstudents and hundreds ofhis fellow faculty members. From the moment he stepped onto the campus of the
Old 160 as a faculty member after graduating from VES in 1967, he became a force of nature. From the classroom to the dorms to the athletic fields, his steely glare and poignant advice helped guide first the young men of VES and starting in 1986 the young women of the school. What everyone soon learned after being around Mr. Mundy was that the glare and the tone may occasionally be stern, but under- neath beat the heart of a teddy bear.
We are all better offfor knowing, working, and learning from Mr. Mundy. We wish him all the best and know that the history of the school will contain a large and wonderful section describing the
times that saw Mr. Mundy on our campus.
