Title: Point of Honor
Description: Built around 1815 by Dr. George Cabell, Sr. on a 900 acre tract of land along the James River and Blackwater Creek. A fine example of Federal Architecture both inside and out, the stucco and Italianate porch are later additions. The name is derived from the fact that a duel had been on nearby land. Dr. Cabell was Patrick Henry's Physician and his daughter Pauline married Patrick's son Spotswood Henry.
