The Isis was the grand-looking theater in the 700 block of Main Street. Just beyond it you can see the white-painted Texas Tavern. Across the street at the end of the next block stands the building known until recently as the Gas Company, but with an earlier face. Beyond it is the Academy of Music Theatre. The Holiday Inn Select and its parking deck have replaced all of the buildings on the left.
