This heavily loaded truck had broken through paving tile into a hole beneath at the entrance to a parking lot in the 600 block of Main Street. The lot was between the Isis Theater and the Texas Tavern. The buildings visible across the street were all demolished in the 1970s and replaced by a parking lot. Photo from the archives of The News
