Westminster (Second) Presbyterian Church stood on the corner of Ninth and Church streets from 1852 until its demolition in 1931 for the construction of a new post ofice (now City Hall). Just after inishing this church, the same architect, William Ellison, built the City Court House at Ninth and Court.
