"Plum" came to us two years ago, bringing with him a character that will not be forgotten. Never-say-die John immediately gained an almost overwhelming popularity with students and faculty, and he graduates as one of the most respected members of the class.
John gave to us his athletic ability in almost every sport; junior varsity and varsity football, junior varsity basketball, and varsity baseball. His exceptional ability has earned him his way into the V-Club.
John's natural leadership has been put to use as a counselor- a wise decision. Aside from his studies and athletics, he spends his time in the choir and Glee Club, cheerleading, entertaining us with his harmonica playing and defending Virginia.
Having an undecided career in mind, John is planning to attetl.d college in Virginia or North Carolina "to satisfy his education ego." His infinite number of good qualities and traits will surely win him success in the future, but V.E.S. will lose an outstanding constituent.
