Lanny, since his arrival at V.E.S. two years ago, has added much to the environment of the school. Almost next to the impossible is to find him sulking or des- pondent-joviality is his theme. Not only is his good nature enjoyed by everyone, but also his ability on the basketball court has been appreciated greatly. He played varsity two years. Other athletic activities include varsity football and tennis. He has a well earned membership in the V-Club. Not only in the choir and glee club, but also throughout the entire school, his voice may be heard sounding through the rooms and corrjdors.
Lanny plans to attend college in North Carolina in preparation for a career in medicine. Quick-witted and mild-tempered, "Lan, the man" will be remembered well throughout the years to come.
