Three of these buildings in the 1300 block of Main Street still stand. From left they are: Suhling & Co. (side of building with chimney), Virginia Seed and Feed Company (now Estate Specialists), Farmers’ Seed and Supply (still is), and the low building extending to the right was Planters’ Warehouse. The site of Planters’ is now a parking lot below Farmers’ Seed.
